Get Testnet RLX

To send transactions or deploy contracts on Relix Testnet, your wallet needs a small amount of testnet RLX. These tokens are free, have no real-world value, and exist purely for development and testing.

At a high level, there are two common ways to obtain testnet RLX:

  1. Requesting tokens from a public faucet

  2. Receiving a transfer directly from the Relix team or other testers

You can use whichever option is available at the current stage of the network.

1. Requesting from a Faucet

When the faucet is live, the process is usually straightforward:

  1. Open your wallet and make sure you are connected to Relix Testnet (chain ID 4127).

  2. Copy your Relix address (the same address you use on other EVM chains).

  3. Visit the official Relix Testnet faucet link shared on:

    • The main website

    • GitHub repository

    • Telegram or X announcement

  4. Paste your wallet address into the faucet form.

  5. Confirm the request and wait a few seconds for the transaction to be processed.

The faucet will send a small, fixed amount of RLX to your address. This is usually enough to:

  • Deploy and test simple contracts

  • Interact with dApps

  • Send a number of regular transactions

If you run out, you can typically request again after a cooldown period, depending on how the faucet is configured.

2. Asking the Team or Community

In the early stages of a testnet, the faucet may be limited or temporarily offline. In that case, you can:

  • Join the official Telegram group and share your wallet address

  • Contact the team through X (Twitter) or other official channels

  • Coordinate with other developers who already have testnet RLX

Testnet RLX is meant to circulate freely among builders. If you explain briefly what you are testing (for example, “deploying a demo dApp” or “running validator experiments”), someone from the community will usually be able to help.

3. Verifying That You Received RLX

After requesting or receiving tokens:

  1. Open your wallet and confirm that Relix Testnet is selected.

  2. Check the native balance; RLX should appear automatically.

  3. You can also open the explorer at https://testnet.relixchain.com, paste your address, and look for:

    • An incoming transaction from the faucet or another account

    • Your updated RLX balance in the account overview

Once your address shows a non-zero RLX balance, you are ready to:

  • Pay gas fees for deploying contracts

  • Interact with smart contracts and dApps

  • Follow the remaining steps in this guide to build and test on Relix.
